A potted history/review of many historic Manchester city centre pubs which have survived amongst other
things, the bombings of Hitler and the IRA (not much to choose between 'em, really - both the scum of the
earth!), plus much post-war re-development and re-building.

A good read - I intend to sample as many of these pubs as possible, thoughI suspect that the book is better
than some of the pubs will be...
