I really liked what this book had to offer in terms of ideas and explanations. It covers basics and some more advanced techniques. Unlike other card/scrapbooking books, this is more than just layout after layout. The ideas are creative and will help you develop our own offshoot ideas.
Lots of techniques for attaching charms to chain and making charms from found objects. Most of these projects are fairly obvious in you have some basic jewelry making skills, but there are some clever ideas and the book includes a project designed by Susan Lenart Kazmer, who is one of my favorite designers. Buy if you're a beginner and want to make charm bracelets. Borrow from a library if you're advanced.
Colorful photos of wearable art from a selection of 30+ artists and their stories, no instructions or projects. Techniques include shibori and pleating, painting on fabric, devore, resist dyeing, ikat, felting, and some hand weaving, especially near the end.

Not every beader wants to make their own beads. But for those who do, this book not only shows you how, but has beautiful projects with instructions. The designs are modern in style.
