This is an interesting book to read for the San Francisco history it contains. There are some interesting recipes and some fairly plain ones too. I'm noting the interesting ones and will ask my chef to try them for the club members to enjoy. We are a club situated about 55 miles north of San Francisco and there are enough of our members who would enjoy the idea of a "Gaslight San Fransisco" themed night at the club.
