Ian Whitehead was awarded his PhD in 1993 by the University of Leeds, where he had also been an undergraduate in the School of History from 1986-1989. Since 1994 he has been Lecturer in Modern British History at the University of Derby. He has contributed chapters to the books Facing Armageddon, show more Passchendaele in Perspective (both published by Leo Cooper) and Medicine and the Management of Modern Warfare. show less
