The "Hawles Bay" Earthquake occurred on the 3rd of February !931 and created significant damage throught the province of Hawke's Bay. This is an excellent accumulation of newspaper cuttings and photographs (b&w, sepia) published on the 1st of July 1931 and updated on the 50th Anniversary of the the original publication. A rare and valuable book.
