Cross, crozier, and crucible: A volume celebrating the bicentennial of a Catholic Diocese in Louisiana by Glenn R. Conrad
2934 Cross Crozier and Crucible: A Volume Celebrating the Bicentennial of a Catholic Diocese in Louisiana, General Editor: Glenn A Conrad (read 11 Dec 1996) This 1993 book on Catholics in Louisiana is made up of numerous separate articles, and while some articles were interesting, the book as a whole is a failure for someone like me who knows little about Louisiana. There is a review of the book in The Journal of Southern History for February 1995.
