Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (French: [ʒɑ̃ ba.tist ka.mij kɔ.ʁo]; July 16, 1796[1] – February 22, 1875) was a French landscape and portrait painter as well as a printmaker in etching. He is a pivotal figure in landscape painting and his vast output simultaneously references the Neo-Classical tradition and anticipates the plein-air innovations of Impressionism. [Wikipedia.org]

I wasn't excited by the art and the write ups didn't really make me look at the paintings. I didn't know anything about COROT before. Apparently this exhibition was at the nag.
