This one was alright, a nice mix. Storm Constantine's was skillfully written but dull. Sebastian Wildish's contribution was funny, well written, and utterly unoriginal. Phil Emery's The Spell Merchant was fabulous, great story, just the right sense of humour, well written.
A good find, this started poorly with Haydn Middleton's 'The Phoenix Farm', which was boring. However Deirdre Counihan's 'Dark' was fantastic and I hope that she published more. The interview with Mary O'Keefe made me want to avoid her books. Sue Thomason's 'August In Londres' wasn't my sort of thing but was very well crafted. Fran Polanski's 'Storing Up Trouble' finished on a high with a fun story that ended on a cliffhanger! Good stuff.
