I love Goose – so much spunk! This fun picture book is a clever play on duck, duck, goose that will have kids laughing and learning. In his exasperation to explain why he should be called everytime during duck, duck, GOOSE, Goose provides fun details about the different animals – he has webbed feet! He doesn’t have a shell! He is not extinct! It’s a clever story on our different identities, playing nice, and taking turns, along with a fun twist at the end that ruffles Goose’s feathers!

Some animals are playing "Duck, Duck, Goose" and Goose wants to join ... except Goose keeps getting confused by the rules of the game and annoyed that other animals are being labeled as "Goose."

The concept of this book sounded super humorous but it didn't quite work out in actuality. Goose is so nasty to the other animals, highlighting only their 'flaws' when describing them, including multiple variations of a statement that Pig is just bacon.

The illustrations are nice enough but not show more sufficient to save a story that isn't that great. show less
