"Kitten Finds a Home" is about a lost kitten without a home. Since she's cold and hungry, Kitten decides to search for a home of her own. The rest of the book is her searching different animal's homes to see if they're a right fit for her. Each page has a little flap that reveals where the animals are living, with a comment from Kitten explaining why the house isn't right for her. At the end of the book, Kitten ends up on the doorstep of a human's house. The front door opens, revealing a show more little girl inside. She takes Kitten into the home, and gives her food and a bed. Kitten is no longer cold, hungry, or alone. This book is quite frankly, adorable. It's an extremely simple book, yet it still manages to teach children about the different types of places animals call home. The illustrations are my favorite part of the book, since they're all very detailed and cute. show less
I love the illustrations in this book. It is a story about a cat who couldn't find his purr until his humans come home.
A sweet story that became one of my daughter's favourites
