I think I found this second volume of the two-volume set much better. Less diversions, much more meat.
Aside from an entirely glossed over and almost pointless summary of David Gilmour's recollection of how the classic Waters/Gilmour/Wright/Mason line-up came together for Live8, this was a very good walk through the Floyd's latter years, from Wish You Were Here through to The Endless River.
Nicely done.

This was a comprehensive—possibly overly comprehensive—look at the Floyd from their formation, right up to Dark Side of the Moon.
There is an awful lot of information on the early days of psychedelia in the first part, and some observances that are more anecdotal than is strictly necessary, but overall, this is a very solid look at a band that, by all rights, should have ended up a two-hit wonder, and instead created some of the best albums of the 1970s.

A detailed history of the Sydney Swans recent successful period which included the 2005 and 2012 AFL premierships. Includes an introduction by AFL legend and former VFL Swans star Bobby Skilton.
This work covers the era of coach Alistair Clarkson from 2005 to 2015. A previous version of this book was written by Blake in 2014 celebrating the premierships of 2013-2014.
