Life of Robert Burns (Top 100 Biographies and Autobiographies) by Allan Cunningham
This was an amazing biography that touched on integral and meaningful periods of Burns' life that add to his work as a whole. Additionally, the anecdotes presented in quick form provide a large amount of entertainment and allow the reader to view the man as a poet and as a human being mixed in a miasma of prose.

Definitely recommended.
