Interesting resource for young kids.
There are 5 sections to this book;
- The Process of Writing -- covers where to get ideas, how to mak a first draft, using paragraphs
- The Forms of Writing -- different types of writing, from poetry to research, and how such texts are structured
- The Tools of Learning -- focusses on reading skills, speaking and listening, and how to organize information
- Proofreader's Guide -- basic grammar and interpunction, often incorrectly spelled words etc.
- Student show more Almanac -- a mishmash of info about measurements, maps, maths, history, but also sign language alphabet and Braille.
All information is presented very comprehensibly, and this book can easily be used by kids without the necessity of guidance by an adult (teacher or parent). show less

Alright. Well done, but quickly dated.
