- It's me, Sonya! I'm a recent graduate of Princeton University where I studied architecture and learned far too much about Bauhaus. I'm based in Los Angeles right now, working as a comedy writer and actress. I love all things creative: graphic design, songwriting, and photography (of course).
I first learned photography by taking too many self-portraits, most of which are mortifying to look at now. I still use a tripod and self-timer for my self-portraits, but if my mom is in the vicinity, she will dutifully assist me. I set up the shot by taking a quick picture of her as the subject, then she will get the same exact one of me. Et voila!
Why ‘Incandescently Happy'?
Several years ago, I was trying to think of a new username for my Instagram account. I was on the couch, watching that scene in the 2005 Pride and Prejudice when Elizabeth says:
“You may only call me Mrs. Darcy when you are completely, and perfectly, and incandescently happy.”
‘Incandescently Happy' also represents me. I love laughing and enjoying life and smiling in the face of the world. Happy is who I am. God has blessed me with a wonderful world to play in and I am eternally grateful! - Nationality
