Kangaroos and other animals with pockets by Louis Darling
Heard about this one from this article about overdue books. It has cute illustrations but the facts are all out of date now (e.g. Australia's population is closer to 24 million than 8 million; I'm not sure "blackfellows" is an appropriate term for aboriginal peoples anymore, etc.). Interesting to learn about all kinds of marsupials, though.
