Short biography
[from Amazon website]
I am the leading authority on the death of America's first Secretary of Defense, James Forrestal, and among the top researchers into the mysterious deaths of Deputy White House Counsel in the Bill Clinton administration, Vincent W. Foster, Jr., and famed anti-war Catholic monk, Thomas Merton. I graduated from Davidson College two years ahead of Foster, in 1965, where I was secretary of the Young Democrats Club and Foster was a member. I was a lieutenant in the United States Army, 1966-1968. I attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina, 1968-72, where I was a founding member of the North Carolina Veterans for Peace and obtained my Ph.D. in economics. I retired from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2009.
