A St. Patrick’s Day Romance That Gave Me Butterflies

Gracie Gets Lucky is a fast, emotional friends‑to‑lovers novella that delivers all the tension and tenderness I wanted. Gracie and Beck’s lifelong bond feels real from the first page, and the mix of flashbacks and present‑day moments makes their shift from friendship to something deeper feel natural and earned.

Beck falling first, and falling hard, absolutely melted me. His quiet devotion, the way he watches out for her, and the show more years of unspoken longing make their St. Patrick’s Day collision unforgettable. For such a short novella, it’s full of heart, heat, and that perfect “finally” moment that gives you butterflies.

A sweet, spicy, emotional holiday read that hits every friends‑to‑lovers note beautifully.

I received a free ebook and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Naughty Saint Nick by Lexi Davis was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The story is short, cozy, and fun, with just enough spice. I was surprised by how much emotional depth the author fit into such a quick read.

Amber is a newly single mom trying to survive on Christmas night after promising to build her 4-year-old's new bike before morning. When she hears a man's voice on the walkie-talkies her son got for Christmas, she's surprised but quickly enjoys talking to this show more mysterious man. Nick, meanwhile, is testing out the walkie-talkies his niece and nephew received and ends up chatting with Amber. He finds himself drawn to her and wants to find out who she is.

The banter between these two was cute and funny, and it felt realistic for their situation. It made the story more believable, and I really connected with the characters. Nick was such a sweet guy that it was easy to trust his intentions. My only complaint is that I wish there was more to their story; I didn’t want to leave their world because I loved them so much.

POV: You're the villian everyone loves to hate and you just say.... in your best Usher voice "Watch This!"

If you read Pretty Vicious and came out of it absolutely despising Carrson...

Welcome to the support group. Because somehow this prequel made me understand him. And honestly? I'm not okay.

This story dives into the dark, twisted world behind Ashford University, where power is everything, secrets run deep, and everyone is playing a dangerous game.

Enter Becky who is determined, ambitious, show more grieving, and slightly unhinged. My favorite kind of heroine.

She came looking for answers, revenge, and control.... and somehow found herself tangled up with the most dangerous man in the room.

Neither of these characters are good people.

Let me repeat that.

NEITHER. OF. THEM.

But that's exactly what made them so addictive.

Becky's grief hit me hard. Those letters absolutely wrecked me. Watching her slowly break down Carrson's walls while refusing to back down was one of my favorite parts of the book.

And Carrson... I don't know who I am anymore.

He's still dangerous. Still morally bankrupt. Still completely unhinged. But understanding where that darkness comes from made it impossible for me to hate him the same way I did before.

Do I forgive him? No.

Do I understand him? Unfortunately, yes.

And that somehow made everything worse.

Together, Becky and Carrson were obsessive, toxic, intense, and completely inevitable. The chemistry was off the charts and every interaction felt like a collision waiting to happen.

The best part?

I thought this book would answer my questions.

Instead, it gave me five answers and fifty new problems.

And don't even get me started on that epilogue.

I KNEW IT. I CALLED IT. AND I'M STILL LOSING MY MIND.

Thanks to Lexi Davis for the gifted eARC through Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Confession: This book didn't redeem Carrson. It just made me understand him. Which somehow feels more dangerous.

A bunny. A bite. A prince. And suddenly… fated mates?

Lexis Davis never misses!!!

Okay confession time…I picked this up because of the title…and stayed because WHAT is happening.

We start with Nora, a kindergarten teacher, bringing a cute little bunny into class......normal. wholesome. safe. Until the bunny BITES her and then turns into a six-foot-five, battle-wounded man. Naked. Sir?!

And he’s not just any man... he’s a prince. He’s being hunted. There’s magic, an enchanted sword, show more a whole kingdom at stake and apparently… she’s his mate. And listen....this book is CHAOTIC in the best way.

We’ve got fated mates, forced proximity, protective, possessive energy and a heroine who’s like “absolutely not, I do not have time for this.” But of course… the tension, the pull, the vibes.... Yeah.

This is fast-paced, steamy, a little unhinged, and honestly just SO much fun to read.

If you love paranormal romance with high stakes, alpha heroes, and a plot that fully commits to the bit .... you’re gonna eat this up.
