I bought this today on a whim after recognizing the author's name; he was my computer science teacher in high school in New Orleans over 15 years ago! Now he's apparently an alternative-health guru in North Carolina. I had no idea he was also an author, much less one on a major publishing house (Simon & Schuster). This looks like a decent cyberpunk novel of future dystopia, not unlike stuff by Philip K. Dick et al, but with a darker sci-fi edge.
