Quick, easy read with the emphasis on helping people engage with nature in ways that will help them see, appreciate and understand more than they would without any tips or education. It really isn't a guidebook. You can't look up every bird or flower you might see (though it does document tracks for the more commen North American mammals). This isn't for cateloging nature, but for giving you a taste of what to look out for and a kick in the butt to go out and discover more for yourself.
