T/FB/TCM: 2026 movie #90. 1976. Former silent movie director Mel Funn (Brooks) tries to get funding for a new silent movie in the '70s, but first he must secure some big names for the project. All dialogue was silent with cards. All slapstick and sight gags and very very funny. Loved it.
2026 movie #36. Mel Brooks' 1977 homage to Alfred Hitchcock with references to Vertigo, Psycho, The Birds and many others. Very funny. It's a joke-a-minute sort of movie and most of them land. Great comedic cast. Star Trek score: 1. Lee Delano was Norton, the orderly with half a mustache. He was one of the gangsters in the TOS episode "A Piece of the Action".
