Overall: Thoroughly enjoyed setting this puzzle for image, quality, and difficulty level. I highly recommend.
Image: The birds are both varied in colors and have significant areas of same or similar color / pattern, which is what makes this a little more challenging to set. That said, shifting focus to shapes over color makes setting this puzzle flow.
Quality (Ravensburger 2016): The pieces are cut in an irregular pattern (non-grid), and are cleanly cut. This the the "softclick" format, so show more there is low dust and the pieces do not tear and get damaged. Although they do not specify, the material appears to be a plastic foam instead of paper board, which is non-desirable to me.

A Collection of Cats Tales is an anthology of cat stories, extracts from varied authors such as William Blake, Emily Dickenson and Lewis Carol; and poems and quotations about cats. This is a beautiful book for any library and a must-have for cat lovers everywhere. The book is beautifully illustrated and hard-bound. I received this book a gift and I truly love it. This is a wonderful addition to my home library!
