Will Stubbs is the coordinator of the Buku-Larrŋgay Mulka Centre, the Indigenous community-controlled art center in Yirrkala, Arnhem Land, in the Northern Territory of Australia. Prior to working at the Centre, he was a criminal defense lawyer in Sydney and in the Northern Territory of Australia. In 2015 he received the inaugural Australia Council's Visual Arts Award (Advocate) in recognition of his "outstanding success as the long-term co-ordinator of the Buku-Larrŋgay Mulka Centre in Yirrkala and his passionate advocacy of Indigenous arts and Australia's unique arts centres". He is considered an expert in Yolŋu art.
