The Home Creamery: Make Your Own Fresh Dairy Products; Easy Recipes for Butter, Yogurt, Sour Cream, Creme Fraiche, Cream Cheese, Ricotta, and More! by Kathy Farrell-Kingsley
I’m looking to expand my dairy skills beyond yogurt; will add a rating later if I try some of the recipes in the book. One criticism: the second half of the book is recipes for cooking with dairy, and I would imagine that most people who want to make their own butter or cheese probably already have plenty of recipes for using it.
The Big Book of Vegetarian: More Than 225 Recipes for Breakfasts, Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Main Dishes, Sides, Breads, and Desserts (Big Book (Chronicle Books)) by Kathy Farrell-Kingsley
No pictures and the instructions are clumped together in big blocks of paragraph text instead of broken into steps -- one of my pet peeves about cookbook design. It might have some good recipes, but it was too hard to quickly skim through, which is exactly what I expect to do with a cookbook.
