This is a better update for Archie Comics than that trashy soap opera Riverdale. Instead of forming a musical group like the Archies, these teens have teamed up to make their own internet video channel where they usually blow stuff up. But some sort of weirdness is happening where monsters possess electronic instruments and appliances, so they become monster hunters . . . who post videos on the internet.

The main drama is a cliched thing about choosing friendship over selling out, but it's show more done with a bit of pizzazz thanks to the high-energy art. There's even a little tribute to Back to the Future in the finale for nostalgia fans. show less

I wasn’t a huge fan of most of the characters in this story as they seemed to let their egos get in the way of doing what was right. Interestingly enough, the real hero n the story is the main characters 15 year old daughter. She is the one who takes the time to think and listen and make the best decisions in regards to the Kaiju and how to stop Zoospora. And of course, lots of credit must be given to Mothra, who’s is always willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good. She does not show more get enough love and respect. Overall, the storyline was okay and the graphics were colorful, but not really my style. I would recommend this book to other Godzilla fans simply b/c Godzilla, Mothra and Mozilla are in it and that’s good enough for those of us who love Kaiju. show less
