Amanda Perry

I had not previously read anything by AJ Anders but Amanda Perry is one of my "must read" authors. I now need to go read everything AJ Anders has written because this book was great. I found this to be a very creative way to depict vampire like characters without making them feel like so many books I have read before. The characters are well written and you truly feel like you are invested in their lives. This world is one I found to be real with just enough mythical elements to feel like a show more believable alternate reality. The only bit of the book that was not completely to my liking was the ending and that was only because it ended more abruptly than I would have preferred. show less

So I read the book. And it was cute. Like, sugary sweet cute. They dealt with some mature situations and they dealt with them in a cute way. This is the perfect RH for people that do not like any sort of burn. Slow would be an understatement for this book. But it was a cute book. If you're not into the smut side of rh, then I would recommend this book. I do admit to crying in the very beginning.

Amanda Perry is an author that I am thrilled I discovered because I thoroughly enjoy her books. Her characters are likable and easy to relate to. I always enjoy he story she writes and find that she has a great grasp on adding steam without too much over the top detail. She is an author I highly recommend.
