Kendra Norman-Bellamy

This is a very good book that deals with the important issues, of alcoholism, domestic abuse, and forgiveness from a Christian perspective. I really enjoyed it. This is the first book I've read by this author, but I may check out some of her other books later on.

The death of a communities beloved minister brings his daughter back home. While she is in town, she runs into Mr. Greene--a childhood acquaintance who now runs a newspaper. The newspaper has been running a section full of letters written in tribute to the pastor, and the daughter tries to convince him that he needs to keep running them, despite community pressure to stop. And of course the daughter and Mr. Greene are also romantically attracted to each other.
This was an OK romance, nothing show more stands out about it. It was very clean which was nice and the happy ending was kind of unbelievable. Fans of romance or those looking for a cleaner alternative to urban fiction would like it. show less
