This is fun! It is really quite easy if you can knit, and the direction are very complete. It assumes that you can knit and purl, but everything else is clearly explained. I picked up my needles and worked on a practice piece that looks quite nice.
Of course once the basics have been dealt with, there are explanations on how to make it much more complicated. There are also several interesting projects using entrelac ranging from small and easy to large and complicated.
Edited to add: The vest show more I made from this book gets a lot of attention from other knitters. Using a yarn that changes colours, the effect is amazing. And really not anywhere near as difficult as it looks. show less
