Mary Rose Duffield (1929–2023)

Mary Rose Duffield, a native Arizonan, is a landscape architect with an active design practice throughout the Southwest. She specializes in personalized residential design and installation of whatever size. She also does commercial design. Her work has appeared in numerous magazines, books, and other publications. She has won many awards in recognition of her work. Duffield earned her master's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Arizona and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She resides in Tucson where, besides her design work, she enjoys experimenting with plants around her desert home, enjoying nature, painting, and caring for her husband, to whom this work is dedicated.
