Well, there are pictures of a variety of guitars, but the text is brief and uninformative, reading more like extracts from manufacturers’ literature or, even worse, random internet sites of dubious provenance. The entries for ‘boutique’ guitar models seem the poorest and more frequent than they deserve, but the variants of popular models have more information.
A more useful premise for the book would have been to describe various types of guitar hardware and design, and how it relates show more to the sound and playability of the instrument. show less

This book contains the history of 200 products, some extremely well known, and others that you probably could less about. I find that it was a good flip, but not a cover to cover read.
