This is a fun book. Basically, it's a quick history of the Beatles, but it's the added pull out stuff that makes it fun. Facsimiles of concert ticket stubs, posters, etc. helped to take you back to that time.

Well written, seemingly well researched. If there was any complaint with this (and honestly, there really isn't), it's that it seemed to slightly favour Paul McCartney quotes over the other three to me.

But it's a great intro to the most well known band in the world.
This guitar primer written for kids is actually a solid introduction that will walk the beginner (of any age) through all the things that are helpful to know when starting out. The next step, practicing and learning all the chords, is where the hard work begins, but I appreciated the way this book eased one into it.
This is a most useful book. Comprehensive, easy to understand, well set out in logical sections, the best book of its type I have come across. The accompanying CD I did not find as useful, nor was it as easy to follow which exercise I was listening to. But the book is a superb reference.
Another book I borrowed from the library. This little pocket-sized book is full of URLs dealing with the subjects of the title.
