Meh. Funbrain is a take it or leave it site. The games are either educational or incredibly simple. They lay out is also a little confusing. There are adds for things at the end of each game, but they are all adds for other games. Playing Funbrain games is like eating a mealy apple, you know what a good apple tastes like which makes eating that much worse. There are better websites available with engaging educational material. There are (original?) serial comics and stories, but they are show more only samples so they're a bit of a let down. I probably would not recommend this website for games, not because it is bad, but because there are better. show less
Theseus and minotaur is the story that talk about an adventure. The story is considered for the Beginner Level readers. It has a CD -Rom that helps the readers to understand the story very easily. In this review, I will write about the good things and bad pints about the story.
The First thing I like about it is that, its very easy to read, that means we can finish reading it in one day. The second good thing about the book is the CD Rom which helps you to understand the story by listening show more and seeing the pictures.
The cruel murders and the rude treatments in the story made me angry and little disappointed about it. Its is not based on a real story and that makes it unreliable.
Overall, I think that its a great story for a beginner to read as its very simply written and have 300 words only.

FunBrain is a fun, educational website for kids from preschool through grade eight. It has online games, books, and comics. Its games and activities allow kids develop skills in math, reading, and literacy while just having fun. There is a Mom and Kids playground section for the youngest kids to find fun, age-appropriate games such as fishing, catching apples in a basket, and controlling a flying pig trying to find food. There is also the Math Arcade, a board game setup with math games, but show more it does requires kids to have an ‘log-in’ to play although it only asks for gender and grade level and it provides a password for kids to come back and finish their game later. The FunBrain Arcade is similar to the Math Arcade, just with different games that are not math related. In the Reading section, there are a variety of comics and books available for reading online, including Diary of a Wimpy Kid. There are also some Mad Libs type games to make up various silly stories with. Lastly, there is an All Games area where all the games can be found. They are organized by grade level the game is intended for and by type of game (puzzle, number games, matching, etc.). The website is visually appealing and well planned. Kids should enjoy all the games and online reading. FunBrain even has a section for teachers to find good uses for the site. In 2010, FunBrain was voted on of the top ten websites for kids by FamilyFun magazine. show less
