This is an excellent book to introduce art to children and even more importantly, show young children what people and their lives may have looked like in earlier centuries.
Although it is an bit older, it is a good book that informs young children of the nature of sleep. It is one in a series of books that details the human body and how it works. This particular book discusses how your body relaxes as you fall asleep, how your brain, heart and lungs work as you sleep. It also comments on dreaming and stages of sleep throughout the night. Interruptions in sleep, like snoring and getting up to use the bathroom, are also discussed.
