This book is about a mischievous boy named Tom Sawyer lives with his Aunt Polly and his half-brother, Sid, in the Mississippi River town of St. Petersburg, Missouri. He gets engaged to a girl but she learns that he has already gotten engaged. Tom sees something in the park and is scared so Tom and Huck run away and swear a blood oath not to tell anyone what they have seen. They go to an island but move home. A lot of other stuff happens this is a great book
