{My thoughts} –Louis mermaid friend Miranda gets her chance at stardom in this book. At first she handles everything wonderfully and allows her friends to take part in everything. Towards the end though she starts letting it all go to her head and begins pushing her friends away.

I really liked this book because it helps to show the reader that true friends will always be there for you. It also shows that some friendships are worth fighting for and saving, regardless the reason of show more conflict.

I recommend this book for anyone that enjoys fantasy type books. I also, think that it’s a great addition to the series and a fun and fast read.

{My thoughts} – This book was as entertaining as the first in the series. Louie is thus sweet unicorn that dreams of being a star. Since he wants nothing more then to be a star he is attending a performing arts school in New York.

He isn’t the only unicorn attending the school. There is also Arnie. Arnie is a bigshot and whenever Louie goes to him for help or advice he is always disregarded or given really bad advice.

The really bad advice is what helps make these books entertaining. Louie show more usually does whatever Arnie suggests and it ends in an entertaining disaster.

I think that any child that has the desire to become more then they are, will enjoy. This book. I also like how it is written and that is has nicely added illustrations to go along with the story.

Louie the Unicorn is ready for the bright lights of New York. He heads off for the New York School of Performing Arts to make a name for himself. Will this naïve, always positive Unicorn make it in there?
This title is recommended for optional purchase. The slap stick style of humor makes it a fun read for grades 2- 4, however, the characters and plotline are not very original. The most unique part of the book is the line drawings superimposed upon black and white photographs which create a show more sort of augmented reality aspect to the illustrations. show less
{My thoughts} – This book is all about Louie the Unicorn and his desire to be the best at his School of Performing Arts in New York.

Louie learns that Arnie the other unicorn isn’t as great as he’d come to believe. He finally learns how little Arnie cares about those around him. Which is a step in the right direction.

In this story there is a dance competition and Louie has to do the ballet part. Most of the story is him practicing and trying to land the perfect routine.

Once it’s time show more for the actual competition Louie and his competition a dragon do their routines. Everything seems to go off without a hutch for both, however after everything is said and done there is a lot of disagreeing over how the routines came to be and who should or shouldn’t get the trophy. In the end everything gets sorted out.

I think that this book is a great addition to the series. I look forward to starting the next book in the series very soon.
