this book is about how stephen curry made it to the NBA. Stephen curry went from getting no scholarships in college to being a lottery pick in the NBA. After winning 2 MVP awards curry still tries his hardest. During offseason curry is working with his trainer to get better. Stephen curry challenges his trainer to give him a challenging workout. whenever curry plays its like watching an angel because he just flies through the court and make amazing and unbelievable shots. curry punishes show more himself for making easy shot and pushes himself even harder.

I like this book because it show you that hard work pays off. When steph curry is practicing and making the shots all the time i think to myself that he just practices a lot and that's al skill not luck. my favorite part fo the book is when steph curry is in high school and he is telling his team that he will make it to the NBA and be a world champion. when the teammates hear him they laugh and say you'll never make it. That just shows that when people bring you down and say you can't you show them wrong and do it. I loved the whole book because it shows how curry was a nobody but became one of the best basketball players ever. show less

Wardell Stephen curry the third has a high school basketball game and is later put on the bench because he's not good enough to play. when curry gets to college he plays his playoff game and their is a bunch of scouts their to watch. curry then realizes that its his time to go to the NBA. Curry later gets picked by the Golden state warriors in 2009 taking the place of all star monte ellis. Monte ellis is later traded for Andrew bogut because the warriors need a center. Curry later gets his show more debut game and goes off and gets 25 points and everyone is cheering his name. Curry then realizes the struggles of keeping up with basketball and taking care of his daughter. Curry then gets a high scoring game gets noticed by a bunch of reporters and then his career list up. Curry later becomes 2 time MVP and all star for the golden state warriors.

I like this book because it shows how much work curry has put in to get to where he is. Curry is like me because he pushes threw all his challenges and doesn't give up. I like this book because it show his ups and downs as a rookie. curry has the grit to push threw and get to the NBA which i really enjoy. Curry isn't just one of the other people that get famous because their dad he got famous because he earned his spot and pushed threw. When curry doesn't have a good game he usually practices harder so he can be a better player which i like. Curry is motivated to be the best which I'm like because whenever i do a sport for something important i always push myself to be better at whatever I'm doing. show less
