This primarily is a picture book. This isn't a huge read but for any David Beckham football fan this is a must. The picture's related to Beckham's playing career and deals with the photos through the 20 years of playing for a variety of clubs. There are a few pictures of family and other times but the majority are from great footballing moments. I am a huge Beckham fan and have followed his career through all the clubs he played for. I thoroughly enjoyed the antidotes that he shared with his show more readers and the photos of the footballing moments in his career. A thoroughly enjoyable book. show less
Well written (thank you Tom Watt for the input). He seems to be the genuine person that he would like to be seen as. I would be interested to read part two in a decade or so.
a short story about two boys (twins) who both enjoy football. James is very good at football and knows it thus making his brother, Adam, feel totally inferior in his game skills. When Adam learns to have faith in himself he realises that he has jsut what it takes to play the game and play it really well. At the end James apologises for his poor behaviour and attitude towards his twin and like most stories they go on to play the game of their lives..
A great read for boys who enjoy soccer / show more football and the encouragement of team play. show less

I love this book, it's my absolutely favourite! David Beckham is my biggest idol since I was a kid, and it was so enjoyable to read his story.
