I had absolutely never heard of Krampus and a google search reveals to me that I wish I were still as naive/ignorant. Ugh. The character in this workmanlike little story is not a horrifying monster... but something completely different and irrelevant. I do not understand the point of this book at all, despite the fact that I learned about it from a GR friend who wrote a lauding review. It would make more sense if the MC were just a naughty elf or maybe a goblin. Also, Yeti's at the North Pole?
