2024 movie #85. 1984. Considered one of the best concert films ever, this Talking Heads performance is sheer exuberance. 88 minutes of music with no interruptions. HBO is showing the 2023 restored version that looks and sounds great. Highly recommenced, especially if you're a fan
The new wave band's fourth album, featuring "Once in a Lifetime."
2.5/4 (Okay).
One classic song and a lot of filler.

"What the Sound Looks Like is a visual celebration of the music of the Talking Heads by over fifty international contemporary artists." -- Texts by Talking Heads and Frank Olinsky. Introduction by David Byrne. A collection of fifty-three of the Talking Heads most popular songs, with the lyrics interpreted and illustrated by noted contemporary artists, including Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring, Sue Coe, Linda Barry, and Talking Heads lead singer David Byrne
Where on a Road to Nowhere, come on inside. This song that I remember came out in June of 1985 on MTV, back in the day, was surely about my coming life. I was 15 in 1985.
