Right when I see the cover of the book of a little boy and his cute doggie, I immediately picked it up right away. The hazy picture of the little boy and his dog gazing into the big field, make you want to know what they're thinking of and the title "Time To Go" make you wonder what's going on so both techniques from the writer and illustrator did a good job grabbing a reader attention. The story is about a little boy taking a good look at his family farm before moving away with his family. show more The pictures are hazy creates a gloomy and sad tone. The boy was looking back all the great memories he had growing up in the farm. It is quite a touching story. I love that the very last page the picture is almost exactly the same as the first picture but instead brighter, greener, and the boy got taller. It's a perfect illustration for the ending when the little boy said "I'll be back someone. But for now, it's time to go." That last picture give a sense of hope to the sad story. show less
