Students in quantitative disciplines often dislike "creative writing". In fact, they have been heard to describe the reason they chose math, physics, computer science, etc. as having to do with a dislike of writing. This book was written to help faculty in quantitative disciplines find ways to help their students become better writers. The primary method used here is Writing Across the Curriculum, sometimes referred to as WAC.
