Scottish Songs is a collection of more than 80 traditional folk songs of Scotland, simply arranged for voice and piano. The songs and ballads reflect the rich heritage of folk music in Scottish life, from the rousing Jacobite partisan song "Charlie is my darling" to the sad lament of "Loch Lomond". Many songs are well known as pipe and dance tunes, and it's interesting to see the complete words here.
The piano arrangements for the 2003 edition are by Margaret Christie.
