David Fingleton (1941–2006)

I had to have at least one book about Kiri. I knew her father, Tom. My family used to rent his house at Hatepe on Lake Taupo every now and then so that we could fish or frolic in the lake. He was a nice man and it sure seems that Kiri is a nice woman. I like her voice a lot and have a few of her recordings. She is a beautiful woman but she was an absolutely stunning young lady as evidenced by the 1976 picture at page 128. But then, I'm a 1950s New Zealander from Taranaki and we all think show more Maori people are a handsome race - at least my family does - most of us married a person of polynesian extraction. show less

Terrible, boring even for me...I love reading opera singers´ biographies but this was as uninteresting as Joan Sutherland's.
