Loved the book's layout: on the right page a full size image of the companion planting; on the left page a smaller photo with numbered diagram at the top with a breakdown of each plant underneath. However, I just wasn't excited by any of the combinations presented. They were all rather underwhelming and offered me little inspiration.

Nice concept, pretty pictures, but intellectually unsatisfying. Get the similarly titled "The Gardener's Palette" instead.
