I got this years ago as a review copy from Down There Press. Ok, I'm a guy and I'm thinking "hot damn!" when I understood what I had. Except I didn't understand. To this day I have to keep all my lesbian friends from stealing this (now) rare work. It is fascinating, NOT prurient (I know, I know, but IT ISN'T). Sort of Georgia O'Keefe inverted. Rather than flowers that look like vaginas, we get vaginas that look like flowers. Definitely discombobulating, but in a good way!
I was 15 years old when I bought this book. Just like most young girls, I thought that my cunt was ugly and disfigured... until I viewed these pictures. We see it everywhere in nature: the bifurcated opening. But why is it that the object, which should be familiar to us all, is one of the most hidden? Well, here it is. Photograph upon photograph of women's external genitalia. Just as no two flowers are alike, no two ladies are alike. These photographs are shockingly beautiful, largely show more because of the deceptive simplicity of style. show less
A good counterbalance to the shaved, waxed, and airbrushed images from porn. All girls should be able to get an idea of what real bodies look like, and this is a good resource.

YAY Vaginas! A picture book that shows beautifully the wonderful uniqueness of the va-jay-jay. A book for connoisseurs and admirers of "down there."
