Constance Staley

Staley's book is a collection of various active learning strategies - complete with handouts/masters from which one may make and distribute copies. She recognizes that some circumstances require a course to be lecture-based, but offers ideas that one can incorporate into a lecture to help keep students engaged. There are some discipline-based exercises as well - like one designed specifically for organic chemistry. Many of these active learning strategies are very low risk and easy to implement.
