A bit of a weird tale, but a fun take on the oft-overused vampire trope as well as the 'descendant of the hero' trope.
My summary is vague and confusing because I could not find the first graphic novel so I started on number 13. The artwork is often beautiful and other times very cartoonish. The men look like women so I had a hard time trying to figure out what gender I was reading about. I knew this would be the case though since this is a Manga Graphic Novel. The story is almost 200 pages long and very little really happens. The artist focuses mainly on the emotion of the characters with a plot in the show more background. show less
I'm sad to say that this is the last of the series. It was so great, so funny and serious and full of action and fantasy all at once.
I love restarting series. It puts a whole new perception on what you do and do not remember.
