So-Young Lee (1973–)

Inez is a tomboy travelling to the capital with her powerful grandfather to learn of her mission to save the country from war and destruction. Oh, and she can talk to animals. Not much of a storyline in this first volume but some wonderful artwork.

I didn't care for these characters - very unlikable. The main character, Jae, is okay but I'm not sure I understand her or why she does what she does.

Personally, she needs to run very far away from these others but then sometimes vampires have a mind hold on you and you are not yourself. I can't tell, though, if that is why she stays with them.

I have the 2nd in the series already so I'll read that one, but at this point, I don't feel like pursuing this vampire manwha.

A pleasant vampire love story. The plot is a bit choppy. The art takes the elongated figure to an extreme, and the artist is poor at portraying facial expressions, but puts in a lot of architectural detail. This volume completes the series and wraps up the story.
