My preschoolers love this book! Especially at the end when they get to talk about which bird was their favorite. The book shows different types of birds in different environments and is an I-Spy/ Hide and Seek style.

A very simple introduction to the concept of animal camouflage. Each animal is shown in it's habitat with an invitation to find it. Then the animal is excerpted with a white shape showing where it was "hidden." For ages 2-3.

It was nice. Simple. We learned basic things about cats. Jennifer's asking for specific topics for her books now: fairies, princesses, cats and after that it's dogs and fish. Plus a mom who loves to makes lists ... it just keeps growing!

In this book, My Cat by Cate Foley, Tom is the owner of a cat named Tabby. Tom tells the reader about what cats actions mean. He talks about cats saying hello by rubbing your leg, cats playing with yarn, meowing when hungry, what cats eat, how they stay clean, and most important how cats keep you company. This was a great book teaching responsibility for young children.
