An excellent resource for ESL teachers that not only provides valuable information, but does so in a diverse and applicable manner. I appreciated how the authors of this book were realistic in different ESL situations and kept in mind how different countries and different student types approach ESL learning. If anything, this book is a must-read simply for the excellent explanations on good and bad lesson plans!
This book offers an innovative approach to teaching and developing reading skills in english. Students increase both reading comprehension and reading speed through an extensive array of exercises offering practice in: vocabulary building, context clues, dictionary use, forming conclusions, locating answers, scanning, finding the main idea, and rapid word recognition.
