This one kinda rules, actually! The first story with the magic stones is very silly and the kind of thing I ate up when I was spending my allowance money on these comics, and the rest is pretty basic but just fine! Bonus points for lots of good Tails moments.

I have to give it a good rating because it was pretty competent, but I'm still gonna fume that a game where Tails was a playable character gets an adaptation where he's a supporting character at best because we had to save room for Penders setting up some of his overwrought Knux stuff. Bleh.

Man, the nostalgia I get when thinking of this comic... back then it was a simpler time, before the Sonicverse exploded into a clusterfuck of shitty recolors. Overall a pretty good series.

The artwork is pretty good for the 90's, and the story is solid.
